Mental Health Resources- http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/MentalHealthResources  A site for the sharing of articles, resources, and announcements, local and otherwise, and giving priority to Australian material, broadly pertaining mental health and mental health delivery. To subscribe, write a blank email to: MentalHealthResources-subscribe@yahoogroups.co.uk. In its messages, links and files sections, are already a significant number of resources. These will be added to as time goes by. Suggestions are always welcomed. To view past posts made to the list, please click on the section the left of the screen labelled 'messages'
  2. ARSHS- http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/arshs/. A list originally designed for my Newcastle, NSW, Australia, students of the TAFE unit, 'Assess and Respond to Individuals at Risk of Self Harm and Suicide', and others interested in the topic. Posts made to the group are publicly viewable. To subscribe to the updates, write a blank email to the address: arshs-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
  3. CHCCS405A- http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/CHCCS405A. A resource site, commenced Feb 2008, and primarily for my students enrolled in the unit 'CHCCS405A: Working with Culturally Diverse Clients and Co-workers'.
  4. Physical Activity for MentalHealth- http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/PhysicalActivityforMentalHealth A list for the posting of articles, news and resources relating to the association between physical activity and mental health. Mental health in this respect encompasses both a) psychological wellbeing and, b) treatment for psychological or psychiatric disorder.
  5. CHCMH4C- http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/CHCMH4C. An internet site,  commenced Mar 2008, for my students undertaking CHCMH4C (Provide non-clinical services to people with mental health issues) and CHCCS9A (Provide support services to clients) at Newcastle TAFE.
  6. Trans/Gender Theory- http://groups.yahoo.com/group/trans-theory. "Trans/Gender Theory seeks to provide a meeting place for discussion of concepts, theories and related ideas of gender. Included within these are all areas related to transgender and associated topics, and those contexts that are exemplified by the experience of those people who cross the divides between genders..."
